A survey on brazilian dentists’ awareness, perception, and knowledge of bisphosphonates

Aim: The purpose of the study was to analyze knowledge dentists in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, about bisphosphonates and their clinical implications. Methods: A cross-sectional questionnaire-based conducted with a convenience sample period 8 weeks. questionnaire self-applied structured 10 items dentists’ demographic characteristics, professional profile, bisphosphonates. Associations data were analyzed by Fischer’s exact test significance level 5%. Results: Of 214 participating dentists, 163 (76.17%) women, 51 (23.83%) men, age ranged for 21 73 years (mean 30 years) mean 6 activity.
